Last week I compared Porsches to Porsches, this week I am going to compare Porsches to some of it closest competitors. I am not going to list them all but I will discuss what I perceive as some of Porsche's closest competitors around the same price point.

Porsches and Nurburgring Times
If you are a Porsche enthusiast, like me, and curious to see how the brand and its different models compete with each other? This article is for you. I sought out to find these answers, and after a quick Google search, I could not find one article that listed them all. Therefore, I decided to do the research myself and compare each model and its respective time. I found this interesting, some times were faster than I expected and others were not as fast as I expected. I

Porsche 996 Exterior Modifications
I have already discussed performance modifications and interior modifications on this forum so I now I am going to discuss miscellaneous or other modifications that I made to my 996. if you are a Porsche Purist, meaning you like to keep your Porsche as original as possible, then you probably would not do a lot of the things that I did to my 996. I love Porsche and the brand but at the same time, I like to keep my car somewhat unique with its own identity.

Porsche Experience Center - Atlanta
For me, the Porsche Experience Center - Atlanta #pecatl is the Disney World for Porsche Owners / enthusiasts. I already posted about my Porsche Owners Experience before (see previous blog for more information) but I wanted to add this video done by some local photographers/videograhpers in the Atlanta area. They did an amazing job.

My first Porsche experience...
Out of all the car companies out there why did I pick Porsche? Growing up as a child, my father had several Corvettes that he owned and he never kept any of them stock (always modified them). He worked for General Motors on an assembly line and he was pretty loyal to Chevrolet. Anyhow, one day when I was young and could barely see over the dash of his 1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette, a Porsche Turbo pulled up beside us and pretty much left us in the dirt. My father's Cor

Porsche Captures win at Petit Le Mans
Petit Le Mans, a 10 hour endurance race. In a much needed win, the Porsche 911 team escapes the storm cloud that has hung over them all season long. This season Porsche both race teams (911 and 912) have encountered a series of bad luck; and the 912 was not able to escape that storm cloud; with approximately 5 minutes left in the 10 hour race, the 912 collided with a GTD car spinning it off of the track. The good news is, the 911 team came away with the win. Barely beatin

DIY - How to Paint Porsche Hubs
As a Porsche owner, one of the things that always bothered me was why the rear hubs are not painted. On my first Porsche (2001 Porsche 911 Carrera 4), which was used when I bought it, all four of the hubs were almost rusted. I love driving my Porsche but I also display it in various car show; therefore, having something that is rusted or not painted properly irritated me, which is why I am writing this "how to" blog. As I mentioned before, I have painted all three of my 91

Car and Driver: Tested: 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Manual Fills a Narrow Niche
In a model lineup that will ultimately spawn more than 20 variants, the manual-transmission Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is one of the more peculiar 911 build configurations. Drivers that buy a 911 like this one are presumably sports-car purists, since they're choosing the seven-speed manual transmission over Porsche's very good, very quick, and more popular PDK eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. But they're not so principled that they pick the rear-wheel-drive Carrera S over the

2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S: The Jalopnik Review
The 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S is an animal, a monster, an apex predator on asphalt when you push the gas pedal into the carpet. Otherwise, it’s a competent touring car. But you knew that. Seriously, why are you reading this review? It’s a fucking 911 Turbo. It’s amazing. Obviously.
